About:

Hi! I’m Ruchita, someone who enjoys staring at the rain and almost breaking my neck trying to bend my head back to look up at the stars. I’ve always been fascinated by both the ground below and the sky above, so naturally I’ve grown to enjoy astronomy and learning about the Earth. One helps explain our environment and surroundings and the other helps explain our place in space and what else could be out there.

I started this blog to get myself to learn more about these topics, and to keep things organized I’ve created 3 categories:

  • Earth: Topics such as geology, volcanoes, earthquakes, and other forces that shape our planet

  • Atmosphere: Weather, climate, hurricanes, and other phenomena in the sky

  • Astronomy: Stars, planets, blackholes, and everything beyond

These categories aren’t extremely rigid and are just to help keep things organized, since the Earth and astronomy are both very broad topics to write about.

Through this blog, I hope to share my own excitement on these topics, document my understandings, help condense and explain complex ideas, and maybe even inspire others to look at the world around them, whether below or above, with a little more wonder.

Hope you enjoy!
